Ruby's story

November 21, 2021: At only 9 months old, this sweet girl was abandoned while she was still nursing. A 3-day search was conducted to find puppies to no avail. Her behavior was indicative of being dumped. Ruby was seen by the ER vet immediately because she was not using her right rear leg. She had a fractured femur due to either a hard kick or being hit by a car. She also had mange (was treated). 

Ruby needs a furever home!

• German Shepherd/Boxer Mix
• 18 months old
• Heartworm negative
• Spayed
• Fractured femur surgery was done 12/12/21
• Crate trained
• Housebroken
• Super sweet and wants to play!
• Great with kids & other dogs...no cats

She had a fractured femoral head and surgery was done 12/13/21 (Pictures below)  She has healing nicely from this!
